I have been always believing that translation is a process of bridging the gap between two different cultures, since it is a significant means to ensure sound communication between two different communities.
Driven by the tendency to be aware of other cultures and to communicate and transfer them into other languages, I became indulged in translation and interpretation as a career after having completed my 5-year academic study at Faculty of Languages and Translation, Simultaneous Interpretation Department, Al-Azhar University plus 3-year study of Professional Diploma of Legal and UN Translation at American University in Cairo (AUC).
Throughout an enduring journey exceeds 12 years through all kinds of translation starting as translator for 5 years with Transtec Translation Services in Cairo, Egypt, then as a legal translator for a number of overseas agencies for 3 years, then as a senior legal translator and editor with Fixit Legal Translation in Dubai, UAE, and then the most important accomplishment was working as a Marketing and Communication Translator & Consultant with the world mega event Expo 2020 Dubai.
I became a sworn legal translator duly certified by the UAE Ministry of Justice in December 2021 during my commitment with Expo 2020 Dubai, the step which I am proud of. However I have so many accomplishments including but not limited to, participating in translation project for the KSA Ministry of Defense regarding importing armored vehicles in 2018, and managing a translation project for The National, a private English-language daily newspaper published in Abu Dhabi regarding entering of audio-Arabic translation into English text in 2021.
Having completed my contract with Expo 2020 Dubai as a Marketing and Communication Translator and Consultant, I have decided to run my own translation agency, since I became duly certified by the UAE-MOJ entitled “Al Nibras Legal Translation & Business Services LLC”, the name that means “The light that shows you the way to your purpose”.
